Why im sticking to World of Warcraft

After all the hoopla surrounding World of Warcraft’s new expansion, i got to talk to one of my friends who plays WoW and Asian made MMO’s. You know what i heard? “I’d rather play World of Warcraft than another Asian MMO”. or something to that effect. And that made me say “I’m actually reactivating my account now, lets gather up some friends and go play WoW!”
I have been quoted as saying that once you have actually played WoW, everything else pales in comparison. That still holds true today. Say what you will about Everquest 2, Lineage 2, City of Heroes and other big name MMOs, nothing compares to World of Warcraft. Yet. More >
Lost in Outland

I’m currently somewhere in Outland. Sandwiched between some Burning Legion ramparts and Hellfire Citadel, i needed a couple of minutes to get used to the controls, my keyboard abilty layout and my new UI courtesy of the latest WoW UI mods available. After a few practice kills (and a couple of quests done), i have mastered the controls again and been zipping across Outland on my flying mount.

When is it coming out? When is its release date? Who cares! The only thing i know is that its gonna be sucking in cash for Vivendi. It may be an even bigger hit than Burning Crusade. Why? The former Prince Arthas aka the Lich King is now available to fight not to mention the addition of WoW’s first Hero Class, the Death Knight. DOTA and Warcraft 3 fans surely know the story of Arthas and how he succumbed to the corruption of Ner’Zhul. Oh, did i mention Blizzard is increasing the level cap to 80? Grinding once again. More >

The first part of the Burning Crusade Intro Movie shows the Dark Portal while Illidan talks in the background about “entering his realm”. Then we get some nifty looks at a Draenei Shaman (He was holding a Hammer AND casting a spell) and a Mage/Warlock Blood Elf showing off their racial innate ability to siphon magic from magical beings.
