RAN Online Battle Royal Begins!

Prove your mettle and join the RAN Online Battle Royal, the greatest single player battle of all time!
RAN Online is all set to unleash Battle Royal as we announce the availability of the RAN Online Battle Royal Registration Form at the RAN Online Item Shop.
The very first RAN Online Battle Royal Competition will commence this Friday December 22, 2006. First BR fight starts at 12:00 PM and a second one will start at 8:00 PM. The Battle Royal competition will continue for another three days from December 23 to December 25. A total of eight (8) BR fight sessions will be held and it’ll be the most wicked four days for participating RAN Online players.
For this week’s prizes, the BR winners will receive a +7 weapon, a +7set of armor and a fantabulous cash prize ( Level of RAN Character x 100). So if you win the BR competition this week and your registered character is Level 120, then you get P12,000 in cold cash! Now that’s one seriously-wicked gift to have this Christmas!
But there’s more! The winners for each preliminary round will give them a chance to fight in the grand finals this March 2007! Greater glory and prizes await the BR Ultimate RAN Gamer and Survivor.

RAN Online launched 5th server

A new star is shining among the realms. Tala smiles upon those brave enough to venture a new path.
RAN Online, the No.1 MMORPG in the country today and flagship online RPG of IP e-Games, is proud to announce the much-anticipated launch of their new server, Tala.
This is the fifth server for the most popular online game in the Philippines, whose number of active players have risen dramatically over a period of just a few months.
The latest server prior to Tala, the fiery Alab, was launched just a couple of months back, but the unexpected and instantaneous rise of players led to another contest to name a new server.
A similar format was done before for ALAB, which gave the players (or “students”, as they are more fondly called) the chance to participate directly with the launch by suggesting a name for the new server.
A shortlist was made from a number of suggested names, and Tala was in turn voted by the RAN community as the best name for the upcoming server.
“We are quite happy, ecstatic even, that for only a short period of time, we’re already into our fifth server. This is quite unprecedented” said Steve Tsao, President of IP e-Games.
And quite unprecedented it is, as the rise of players not only resulted to the creation of a new server, but also led to an “exodus” of sorts, as RAN Online initialized free inter-server transfers among the players to further balance the gameplay.
Tala is the Tagalog term for star, and IP e-Games hopes that it will serve as a guiding light to the latest generation of RAN players.
“There’s so many players in the older servers right now that the game is visibly feeling the brunt, “ says Tsao. “Through Tala and the server transfers, we hope to balance out the distribution of players so that all servers will receive optimum service from IP e-Games.”
