Philippines Regional Ragnarok Tournament
The Ragnarok World Championship will be held in the Philippines this year.
Level-Up Games, a Online Game distributor here in the Philippines will be the one hosting the said event. In preparations for the coming Ragnarok World Championship, (RWC), Level-Up Games organized a Tournament where the winner will represent the country for this year RWC.
The tournament will be held in 4 cities nationwide. Pampanga (SM Pampanga), Manila (SM North EDSA), Cebu (SM Cebu) and Davao (SM Davao).

Greetings!
As you may already know, we were put to the test when Triggersoft (Gravity’s development team for ROSE) not only ceased development and technical support for ROSE Online but also shut down all operations recently. Many thought this was the end. But resilient as we are, we found a way to survive. We decided to follow the free to play business model, a risky and bold move, but one that we were willing to take… all to keep a great game going, keep everyone happy and most of all, keep our community solid, intact and alive.
ROSE was touted as THE game to play during its launch. We were able to make it the 2nd largest game in the Philippines with one of the most loyal and passionate gaming community this country has ever seen. It was supposed to have had the coolest features that one cannot find in other games, from simple joys like cute outfits, to big weapons of destruction such as the funky Castle Gear. And who could forget the world of the Seven Hearts, seven planets with its own unique environments and features.
We can keep on fighting but there is only so much we could do. And so, it is with deepest regret that we inform you that we will be shutting down operations for Philippine Rose Online on August 6, 2007, at precisely 3:00 PM.
We know how much pain this decision will bring to our loyal community. That is why, as a token of our appreciation, we shall be giving BONUS CREDITS TO OUR LOYAL ROSE PLAYERS (to their MylevelUp wallet) and reimbursing all unspent Moonies (see mechanics below).
In this regard we’d also like to invite you to check out the Open Beta of Perfect World (July 18), the coming release of Rachel (Episode 15 for Ragnarok Online) now in Sakray, Flyff’s new Version 8 (coming July 25), and Episode 2 for RF Online (sometime August).
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will cherish the 2 years that we’ve spent together. No experience will ever equal the things we’ve had together as friends and comrades.

Level Up! Brings Multi-Awarded Perfect World to the Philippines!
Level Up! Philippines is proud to bring you Perfect World, a full-3D MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Game) showcasing superior 3D graphics, deep gameplay, and a unique fully-customizable character system.
Perfect World, a game fully conceptualized and developed by Beijing Perfect World Technology, is one of China’s first, original, and full-3D online game. With more than 30 million renminbi (RMB) invested in the three-year project, everything from the graphics, backgrounds, gameplay elements and 3D engine was designed from the ground up.
Their efforts paid off when Perfect World won international acclaim and numerous accolades from gaming organizations, including the prestigious Golden Feather Best 3D Online Game for 2005 and Golden Feather Most Original Game for 2005.
Level Up! Philippines signed a contract for the exclusive rights to Perfect World with the Beijing Perfect World Technology last December 12, 2006 in Beijing, China and earned the right to bring the game to Filipino shores. They are currently fast tracking the Beta stage of the game to give Pinoy gamers a chance to discover why this game has taken Asia by storm.
The Story Behind The Game
The game’s background story is spawned by the rich traditions and myths of ancient China. It is anchored on the legend of the god Pangu, “the Creator” and the Elements that the other gods fashioned into a new world called the ‘Perfect World’. In this new world, three races vie for control of the epic and mystical realms; the Humans, Wings, and Werebeasts.
Initially, each race has 2 particular job classes:
Human Race: Swordsman (WuXia), warriors who excels in strong physical attacks and Element-Mage (FaShi) conjurers of powerful magic for the Humans;
Wings Race: Archers (YuMang) stealth elfin-like creatures who fire deadly arrows and Priests (YuMang) mystical protectors and trustworthy allies;
Werebeast Race: Werebeast (YaShou) behemoth lycanthropes who can transfigure to powerful beasts at will and WereFox (Yaoling) summoners of mighty creatures to aid them in battle.
In addition, characters can choose to join the ranks of Heaven (Xian) or Hell (Mo) and fulfill specific roles.
Elevation: To the Top with Level Up!

Level Up! Philippines rocked the i-cafe industry with its trade launch entitled “Elevation: To the Top with Level Up!”, held at C3, The Events Place, last February 9, 2007.
Bright lights, overflowing beer and a sumptuous buffet greeted cafй owners and special friends as they entered the main hall transformed into a gaming haven by Level Up personnel.
With almost 800 guests in attendance, popular gaming personality Iya Villania and Level Up’s own JC Medina started off the festivities with a video that recapped Level Up’s numerous accomplishments and the programs instituted in 2006.
The party rocked at a higher level as Level Up introduced new game updates and revealed its newest games like Perfect World, SilkRoad, RO2 and BethereCafe as rock-reggae band Sidhi performed a medley of all time hits like “What I Got”, “Born To Be Wild”, “Summer Romance”, “Come Together” and “I’ll Be Here Awhile”.
Apol Dionglay, Level Up’s Head of Sales and Trade Marketing, brought the celebrations to a fever pitch by unveiling the trade plans for 2007, most of which are targeting cafe owners.
And, as a gesture of appreciation, Level Up also gave away several amazing prizes, including a brand new Creative Zen V Plus, Nokia 3250 phones and an Intel dual core laptop!
Legendary Pinoy rock band The Dawn capped off the night with their signature songs “Enveloped Ideas”, “Iisang Bangka Tayo” and their own interpretation of the U2 hit and the unofficial trade launch anthem “Elevation”.
It was indeed a great start to what will surely turn out to be a great year for Level Up and all their partners.
Level Up’s 18 days of Christmas

Have you been a good gamer this year? Better watch out because Santa has a big bag of surprise waiting for all good boys and girls in Level Up’s 18 days of Christmas! Starting December 15 to January 1, Santa will be coming to different Level Up! game towns to spread some joy to lucky players! When the clock strikes 2pm until 7pm (not midnight, okay?) simply log in to play your favorite Level Up! games like Ragnarok Online, ROSE, RF Online, FreeStyle, Pangya, Flyff, or Khan!
Everyday, Santa will pick five good boys or girls who are logged on during those magical hours then shower them with P1,000 worth of top-up gift in his/her My Level Up! or Netgames account. And if you make it to Santa’s list of winners on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, you get an additional P1,000 worth of top-up! That’s a total of P2,000 top-up on those two special days!
So if you want to receive a cool present this Christmas, be a good gamer by logging on, play and pray you’ll end up on Santa’s list. Remember, he’ll be checking it twice!
MECHANICS:
1. Everyday, from December 15 to January 1, Santa Claus will be logging in (invisible, of course) at the various Level Up! games (RO, RF, ROSE, Freestyle, Pangya, Khan, and Flyff).
2. Every hour from 2pm to 7pm, Santa will randomly pick a single winner from each game.
3. To qualify for the draw, just log on in any of the LU games and play during the specified hours.
4. There will be a total of 5 lucky winners per day, per game. Winners will be announced through in-game announcements.
5. Each lucky winner will win P1,000 worth of top-up in his MyLevelUp or Netgames wallet (winners from RO, Rose, RF & Freestyle who do not have a MyLU account MUST create a MyLU account in order for their prize to be awarded). In addition, the winners on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day will receive a special bonus of P1,000 (P2,000 total) worth of top-up.
6. Prizes will be awarded within the day of winning during weekdays, and on the following working day during weekends and holidays.
